The year of the 13, it would be great to incorporate this into art somehow, perhaps have 13 paintings done in 12 months.
Thoughts on the character Lysanna
After a lot of planning I have finally decided on the idea for my illustration. I'm bypassing the quick and easy route and headed back to the easel. It would have been a lot faster for me to work in watercolors or acrylics, or even try my hand at digital work again. However, what I have in mind demands the rich tone of oil paints. I just stretched my canvas today, 40" by 32" and am working on drawing the image on the canvas. It would be much easier if I had a digital projector to trace my drawing! But I just have to draw it all over again...
I know a lot of readers had many questions about the character Lysanna and I think that's good.

This week I will be uploading pictures of all of the artwork that I have made during the past 7 years, as well as some new pieces and works in progress. I'm looking forward to making new friends here and participating in all of the creativity.
